The cryptocurrency dozecoin created as a camouflage is becoming increasingly valuable.
According to the digital currency exchange Coinbase, the price of dozecoin has risen above 30 cents as of Friday. Its value more than doubled on Wednesday, when the dogekin (pronounced "doh-j") hit 13 cents.
"Memcoin" was created in 2013 as a joke to enjoy the excitement of digital coins like Bitcoin, says cryptocurrency news site Quadesk. Dodgecoin was inspired by the popular Doze meme, which features Shiva Inu holding a string with eyebrows on the side of the camera, according to the website Jan More Meme.
Interest in the cryptocurrency increased last week as Coinbase began trading publicly on the Nasdaq exchange last week, with its first day ending at দাম 328.28 and and 85.78 billion.
